About

Hi there!
IMG_5330

I’m Kaitlin Hill, a Culinary Institute of America trained chef, food writer, recipe tester and photographer.

For me, food has always been the centerpiece of the most memorable moments, both good and bad, in my life. From birthdays to breakups, first dates to failed relationships, and everything in between, what I always remember is what I was eating.

Emotional Eats is my version of a food memoir (doesn’t that sound fancy) intended to share a laugh, sometimes a tear, but always a great recipe. I hope you’ll enjoy my journey of being a youngish, single, Virginia girl who found herself in the big city, and share in my hunger for delicious recipes and great storytelling.

Thanks for reading!

Lot’s of love,
EE
